RTA Joins in Priest Gulch Trail Work Day

RTA participated in the June 8th Priest Gulch trail work day hosted by the USFS.  Together with members of the San Juan Trail Riders and Mancos Trails Group, we were refreshed on safety, trail clearing protocol, and lots of techniques.  In the photo below, USFS Ranger Jordan points out a “junk wall” constructed with large branches and rocks inside a switchback corner.
