Open Until October 7th: USFS Rico Area Trails Package Scoping
The trail projects we’ve been working on with the USFS are out for public comment until October 7! The 3 non-motorized trail projects are “packaged” with a motorized connector trail. Learn more about the trail package.
We would appreciate your support in the form of a comment before October 7: https://www.fs.usda.gov/
The USFS has indicated that the most valuable comments include a “why” someone is in support of the trails package. For example, the RGS trail would provide a safe way to create a loop or access from Rico to the Salt/Ryman and Scotch Creek Trailheads without riding or walking on the highway. Or, the RGS trail would provide one of the only flat, intermediate, and family-friendly sections of trail in the Rico Area, etc. Your comments are an important part of the process and will certainly help establish these projects we’ve been working so hard on! Thanks in advance for your support.
